StepN Go, the social lifestyle app, has made headlines with its latest partnership announcement with Adidas to launch a non-fungible token (nft) sneaker collection named Genesis on the Solana blockchain. This collaboration marks a significant milestone in the journey of these two brands towards revolutionizing digital fashion in the web3 space.

The StepN Go and Adidas Genesis Sneakers nft drop is the second phase of their year-long partnership, following the successful debut in April 2024. The Genesis Sneakers collection sets out to bridge the gap between fitness and digital fashion in a unique and innovative way.

To participate in this exclusive offering, interested individuals can enter a raffle mint on MOOAR, an nft marketplace by FLS, the gaming and development studio behind StepN. A total of 1,000 sneakers will be available for purchase at 10,000 GMT, StepN Go's native token, per entry, with refund options for the unlucky participants.

New Features Fuel StepN Go's Growth

Since its public beta launch in September 2024, StepN Go has gained significant momentum with its innovative features. The introduction of "the Haus" feature allows users to lend their sneakers to friends, sharing their earnings while motivating each other to stay active.

Besides the Haus feature, StepN Go offers a range of features designed to reward users for their physical activity. The Fitness Level feature, for instance, offers additional earnings based on consistent activity, turning every step into an opportunity to earn more.

To complement these new features, StepN Go has introduced a new token called the Go Game token (GGT), which can be earned by walking, jogging, and running with digital sneakers. The app also includes social elements such as adding friends, messaging, avatars, and various playing options to facilitate connection among players and enhance the overall experience.

German Companies Embrace NFTs

Traditional German companies are increasingly exploring innovative ways to leverage nft technology, reflecting the growing interest in this space. One prime example is Lufthansa, which has introduced an nft loyalty program on the Polygon network in collaboration with the Lufthansa Innovation Hub and Miles & more, its frequent flyer program.

Lufthansa's Uptrip mobile application enables passengers to convert their travel experiences into NFTs, which can then be redeemed for rewards such as mileage bonuses and business lounge vouchers.

In a similar vein, German fashion brand Hugo Boss has also embraced the nft trend by focusing on digital fashion in the metaverse. The collaboration with renowned digital fashion designers has resulted in a series of exclusive nft clothing items that can be worn by avatars in virtual worlds, offering users a unique way to express their style and creativity even in the digital realm.

Furthermore, Hugo Boss has introduced HUGO BOSS XP, an omnichannel member experience powered by blockchain technology. Launched in May 2024, this innovative customer loyalty program allows members to collect and redeem NFTs through their purchases and interactions across various channels and brands, unlocking exclusive products and offers from BOSS, HUGO, and their partners.
